Gingerbread White Russians

Gingerbread White Russians are a splendid holiday cocktail. Warm cinnamon, sweet molasses and spicy ginger create the ideal combination to usher in the holidays.

Gingerbread Syrup Ingredients:

¼ cup honey

3 tbsp molasses

½ tsp ground ginger

1 tsp of cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract

Gingerbread White Russian Ingredients:

2 oz vodka

1½ oz Kahlua

2 oz gingerbread syrup

2 oz heavy cream

Cinnamon and sugar mixture to rim the glass

Instructions for Gingerbread Syrup:

In a medium pot, combine 1⅓ cups of water, honey, molasses, ginger and cinnamon. Bring ingredients to a boil over high heat. Let mixture to boil for 3-5 minutes, then remove from heat. Stir in the vanilla. Allow to cool.

Instructions for Gingerbread White Russian:

Rim a glass with a cinnamon and sugar mixture. Fill glass with ice. Add the vodka, Kahlua and gingerbread syrup. Slightly stir. Add heavy cream and stir to combine.
